Living in RV this weekend again....YA!

We're still here, we're still alive and we are tired!  I think we haven't stopped to rest much at all since we arrived back home.  We babysat our grand daughter Meredith today.  You know what you get when you cross a 50 yr old grandma with a 17 month old little girl??
ONE WORN OUT GRANDMA!  She is adorable and she is not as rambunctious as a lot of kids her age but we were kind of tired to begin with, so tonight whew we are over the hill.  We are camping this weekend at Turkey Run State Park where we camp hosted in June. It is their big Halloween weekend, so I should have a bunch of neat pictures to share. We have been loading up the camper this evening, it is just not as fun to do, all the work loading when you are only going to be gone for 2 nights. So Art and I decided we need to go somewhere next week, I mean we already have half the work done.  When we were loading items in the trailer I happened to look back to the west and the sun was going down and was a huge orange ball, it was just gorgeous.  Man it sets fast, by the time I go the camera out and took the photo it was half down. Still it was neat looking.

You can see the corn is still in the field. Most of the corn and beans have been picked but they are late here.
Almost gone. Another day over :(  Wow they go fast!
An  amazing difference from the beach at Hardin Ridge isn't it?  I can't believe I caught this whole flock of butterflies.....:)))

I took a picture of this little squirrel when we were visiting Nashville In.  He was so cute!

"This is what I am giving out for treats on Halloween." " You think the other squirrels will like it?"
"Gee Whiz!"  "This is one big piece of corn. I don't think it will fit in my cheek."
Hope everyone is enjoying this gorgeous weather because it is supposed to be miserable tomorrow, cold, and rainy. Saturday is hopefully going to be better. So next time we will be at Turkey Run.
From Thorntown we send hugs and best wishes.

  2. The reason you were so tired is because you watched a 17 month old today, not a 15 month old. Two months can make a big difference ;) LOL!

    2. Love your additions to your photos. Cute. Grandkids can certainly wear one out, especially at that age!!

    3. Thank you I had fun adding them. Whenever I find something new just can't wait to use it. Yes, that age is a hard one, always busy never tired :)

  3. Beautiful red sun going down!

I used to be exhausted when I had the grandkids for a day. Whew! They were super well behaved, but it's constant, you know?

I'm glad you're getting away in the rig - Have fun! :)

    1. Thank you. I thought it was pretty how big and red it was. I remember my mom used to say how tired she was after watching the grand kids and I thought how silly...now I GET it! We had a good time have lots of pictures to show.
