Little Cabin in the Woods

I took so many pictures on our days off that I just couldn't get them in on the two blogs. Partly because Blogger was giving me fits on loading photos Wed night. I really don't have alot to say this evening. Just doing pictures and beginning to get things ready to leave. We are tentatively leaving on Tues. We are really missing our girls and our grand daughter Meredith. I hear her on the phone and my heart just breaks. Well before I start crying here are the pictures I wanted to share tonight.  I posted a picture of the log cabin that Art and I found.  It was a model home and you would have to buy a lot to put it on.  We have always wanted a log home. And at this time in our lives we want it small. Living in the RV is just our size. I have never liked big houses and now I dislike them even more. I don't want to spend my life cleaning I want to get out and live. They had a little furniture but not much.  Here is the kitchen. They had a pantry/closet under the stairway that was a good size.

Not much cabinet space but I could get used to it. There isn't much in the fifth wheel too.
This is an extra bed in the loft area. There was a bedroom downstairs but I didn't get a picture of it. Sorry :(
Taken from the loft area into the living room. It is nice and bright I love that.
Looking down the stairs. There were 2  doors one in the kitchen too.
You can see the pantry door and the second bedroom. The latches on the doors were very creative.
I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of the bathroom. It was small but decorated really cute. It had a shower/tub combo. Here is the house again, what a cute front porch.

I found this little turtle in Nashville yesterday.  I just had to bring this one home.  Isn't he a cutie!!!

So From Hardin Ridge we send hugs and best wishes.

  3. The cabin is perfect. Funny thing our niece and nephew are building a cabin (not log) across the road from us, and the floor plan mirrors the one you posted!! Safe travels 'home'.

  4. You need to buy the cabin and put it at Hannah's or my place so you have your own pad when you visit us. Or you could put one at each of our places ;)

Love the turtle! He is so cute :) It looks like he's say "Yep, I'm a turtle and I know I'm cute" :)
