Cleaning Sites and Golf Cart Fun!

Wow having a golf cart is so much fun. It is hilly here and it moans and groans going to the top of the hills (especially if it is Art and I) but going down, Weeeeee......look out below. Art hits the brakes but not me, I love to go fast. Good thing there are no cops in here. :)) We were out cleaning sites~ not ours~the campsites on Southern Point (our loop) but in Pine Loop as the camp hosts there went home for a few days. We clean out the fire pits, as most people put their trash in there. They give us picker uppers, buckets, gloves, shovels and rakes oh and leaf blowers.

Some of the sites here are way back in the woods and you have to walk a long path to get back to them. They are sooooo neat. I took a picture of one, you can see the picnic table.

After we got back from picking up the sites we had supper, then we went up to the office for game night. All the camp hosts get together and play cards, board games, whatever they want. Art and I played Euchre it was a blast. I took my camera and was going to take pictures but I forgot, again. Boy I am going to have to get better at remembering my camera. We were driving the golf cart to the office and 3 big turkeys ran across the road in front of us. I did have my camera but a car came along and scared them. Shoot! When we got back to the camper Art got out the computer and was playing Spider Solitaire. We were pooped and then went to bed. From Hardin Ridge we send you hugs and best wishes!
